Delete your account

DittoScout is made by MadMooze LLC. You can delete your DittoScout account and everything in it yourself, at any time, from the app or the website.

In the app

1. Open DittoScout and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete account again.

On the web

1. Sign in to DittoScout on the web and open Settings.
2. Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm.

If you can’t sign in

Email privacy@madmooze.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, all your ideas, Scouts, reports, watchlists, alerts, feedback, problem reports, credit balance and ledger, and the usage records tied to your account. Any active subscription is cancelled immediately, without a refund for the current period, and remaining credits are forfeited. Export your data from Settings first if you want a copy.

What is kept, and for how long

• Billing records: the payment notifications we receive from Stripe are deleted automatically 30 days after your account is deleted, or 2 years after they were received if that is sooner.
• Backups: deleted data can remain in our database provider’s encrypted backups until they are overwritten on its own schedule.
• Public market data: the public app listings and reviews DittoScout analyses are not your data and are kept.

Deleting some of your data, but keeping your account

On the web, you can delete any idea from your ideas list. It is deleted permanently, with its Scouts, reports and ScoutWatch, once no Scout on it is still running.
